Consultant (m/w/d) HR Processes and Digitization

The Albtal Transport Company (AVG) transports around 46 million passengers per year with its city railways. The company has a city rail network of more than 540 kilometres and operates 288 kilometres of its own route, making it one of the largest railway companies in Baden-Württemberg. A central element is the “Karlsruher Model”, an innovative TramTrain system that connects inner-city trams and regional railway lines and thus enables flexible mobility throughout the region.

Founded in 1957, AVG is a municipal transport company and employs around 1,000 employees. In addition to the operation and maintenance of railways and routes, AVG also takes over tasks in the area of planning, infrastructure and customer service. Through close cooperation with the Verkehrsbetriebe Karlsruhe (VBK) and the Karlsruher Verkehrsverbund (KVV), AVG contributes significantly to the mobility at the Oberrhein.

Your responsibility

• Optimize and develop existing HR processes and workflows with the aim of increasing efficiency and automation
• Transform the HR internal requirements thus obtained in IT booklets, action plans and/or organisational measures
• further development of our systems (SAP/HCM, d’Vinci, etc.) and their interfaces to the time economy, finance and data warehouse in cooperation with the department management, departments and the respective service provider
• Technical support of our HR-internal non-SAP systems
• Supporting department management in the project management of HR-IT projects
• Perspective: Accompanying the migration of the SAP HCM modules into the cloud

Your profile

• Completed studies in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of experience with SAP HCM, knowledge of SAP Succes Factors are beneficial
• Experience with recruiting and onboarding applications
• Know-how in process thinking, workflow creation and automation
• Routine in cooperation with specialist departments, business IT and external service providers
• Experience with time management and deployment planning software as well as their interfaces to SAP
• Promoting responsible, independent and solution-oriented working with interest and motivation, digitization and automation
