Apprenticeship 2027 - Construction Equipment Operator - Specialising in Building Materials Technology (Process Mechanics) - Zwickau (m/f/d)

Start your training from September 2027 as a construction equipment manager:in (m/w/d) - Department of Construction Materials Engineering (method mechanics) at Deutsche Asphalt GmbH. From day 1 you are in the middle of it and get to know the diverse tasks around machines, plants and building materials. You want to get an insight into the profession beforehand? You can do an internship with us and get first experiences.  In the first two years of training unlocks, wins and promotes the raw materials needed for asphalt production such as sand, gravel or splint. You program, control and wait the automated comminution and mixing systems. It is part of this that you serve construction machines such as hydraulic excavators, wheel loaders and caterpillars to transport the raw materials mined in quarries. You also take care and maintenance as well as minor repairs of construction equipment. You will also learn to load and secure construction equipment professionally. Basic courses in welding technology and thermal burning as well as occupational and health protection complete your training. In the third year of training, it becomes even more practical: you plan workflows, analyze and eliminate disturbances and learn to repair machines and plants professionally. You monitor process and manufacturing processes, perform quality checks and take samples. You will also learn to fill building materials, load, weigh and prepare for shipping.
