Team Leader Customs (m/f/d)

You're expecting You conduct a small, dedicated customs team professionally and disciplinaryly and are responsible for the continuous content and personal development of the employees: inside and our customs processes. You will report to the Tax & Customs department manager. You control risk management in the import and export processes and are the first: for our service providers/suppliers and customs authorities. You are responsible for compliance with customs, external trade and export control laws, as well as a revision-proof deposit or archiving of import and export operations with us safely. You are part of the Tax & Customs Governance Framework and actively support its development and development. You advise the specialist departments in all customs and foreign policy requests and carry out internal training. You know the relevant and current legislation, in cooperation with other specialist departments, ensure the implementation of legal changes and are always at the current level of further developments in customs and foreign trade law. You have an overview of all Tradecompliance topics (EUDR/CBAM/delivery chain, etc.) and support the relevant areas in implementing these legal standards.

You have a successfully completed degree, e.g. in the field of economics or law with a focus on customs and foreign trade, or a comparable qualification. You have several years of professional experience in customs (customs procedures, customs value law, customs law, external economic law, commodity origin and preferential law) and have also gained professional and disciplinary leadership experience. Ideally, you have knowledge of international transport logistics. Your work is characterised by a high level of self-employment and commitment. You have a high degree of process understanding and strategic thinking skills and bring strong team and communication skills. Your willingness to constantly monitor the legal changes is a sign of you and you will continue to develop accordingly. Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
