Product Owner (m/w/d) Communication Suite

Hagenuk Marinekommunikation GmbH (HMK) based in Flintbek near Kiel is a leading manufacturer of sophisticated, individual and turnkey internal/external communication systems (ICS) for marine vessels and is also known as an important supplier for marine and ground air applications. HMK, which can look back on a long tradition in the field of global communication from birth to today, produces and supplies radio communication systems for marines all over the world. The broadly acquired knowledge focuses on high-tech products, engineering skills and system know-how.

As Product Owner of the Communication Suite, our software for operating complex communication systems, you are responsible for the successful implementation of functional requirements under various technical and architectural conditions. You plan the detailed break-up of the respective development project together with system architects and in coordination with the clients and prioritize partial targets. Together with the team, you deliver incremental improvements to the customer. You coordinate the timing of the relevant development steps and report to the client. You represent the product and the company at conferences and project meetings.

You have a successfully completed study of electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, physics or the like. You are inspiring for scientific work for innovative concepts and systems. Ideally, you have experience in managing complex technology projects. Serum Alliance or Scrum.org certification as Product Owner would be desirable. You have experience in leading the different roles of a team together to the next, achievable goal. You can inspire yourself to classic, as well as agile approaches and choose the appropriate path in situ. You know which visual tools help the team to focus on the essentials. The continuous delivery of small improvements to the customer is part of your DANN. You are powerful, communicative and understand how to inspire several teams for a common vision and a common approach. You repeat stoically the question “How do we test it”. You have a basic understanding of modern DevOps technologies and help the team achieve a higher degree of automation in your daily work You have very good English skills in word and writing.
