Data & BI Engineer - Bochum (m/f/d)

Our team BI & Data Management is the central point of contact for data-driven solutions in the construction project management and technical purchasing of Vonovia.

We structure and visualize data to enable informed decisions and make processes more efficient. We develop powerful BI and reporting solutions and drive forward the continuous development of our system landscape. As an interface between specialist departments and IT, we translate operational requirements, accompany system adaptations and coordinate IT-demand management. Our goal is to create transparency through the linking of data and systems, to make business processes controllable in the building project management data-driven and to drive digital innovations forward. Your tasks: You develop and optimise BI dashboards to visualize relevant KPIs and create transparency for sound decisions You actively shape the further development of our BI and data landscape (SAP ERP, SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, Databricks, SQL Server/Azure SQL) As an interface between disciplines and IT, you analyse requirements and develop accurate reporting and BI solutions You extract, model and optimize data for meaningful reports and efficient decision processes You accompany the introduction of new solutions, coordinate change requests and support tests as well as acceptances You promote knowledge transfer in the team and support users through training and advice Your profile: Complete study of (economic) informatics, data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering sciences or a comparable qualification with a focus on data analysis Very good German knowledge (C1) in word and writing Experience with SAP ERP and SAP BW as well as a good understanding of data models and their integration in BI solutions You have secure SQL skills required for this role. Ideally, you also know SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere and Databricks.
