(Senior) Data Scientist / AI Engineer GenAI & KI-Agenten (m/f/d)

As (Senior) Data Scientist / AI Engineer (m/w/d), you are part of our AI team and is responsible for the technical implementation of innovative GenAI solutions to multi-agent systems. You develop robust, scalable and production-related AI applications from the data base and prototyping to evaluation and integration to operation. You work closely with our specialist departments, product managers and IT teams.

Design and implement AI solutions: You develop and implement GenAI and AI agent solutions for our omnichannel distribution and other central business areas - from the first idea to the productive application. Data, models and prompts: You prepare data, select suitable models and develop agent workflows for specific applications. Prototyping to Production: You transfer PoCs into robust, scalable solutions and are responsible for technical integration via APIs, existing systems and modern cloud stacks. Quality and operation: You define evaluation criteria, implement tests, monitoring and guardrails and ensure quality, safety and continuous improvement of AI applications.

Your basis is a successfully completed study in the field of computer science, data science, business informatics, or a comparable study programme. You bring several years of practical experience in the development and implementation of AI/ML or GenAI applications - ideally with responsibility for transfer to productive operation. You have very good knowledge of Python and modern software development, especially in the handling of APIs, git, testing and reproducible development processes. Finding experience with Large Language Models, RAG, Embeddings, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering and/or agent-based architectures will also help you. Ideally, you also have knowledge of agent frameworks (e.g. AgentCore, AutoGen, CrewAI) and modern cloud stacks (e.g. AWS). Your strengths include analytical skills, a good understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions. You have a high degree of self-responsibility, implementation strength, innovation joy and joy in working with specialist areas, data engineers, DevOps experts and external partners.
