The storage of numerous large-scale datasets is to be sustainably implemented within the best infrastructure and the charging times for datasets are minimized. The activities include imaging and image compression algorithms, array databases, large distributed computer systems and virtual file systems. The aim is to define the data organization for complex, multidimensional tomography data and to implement workflows for data reduction. A completed academic degree and a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related subject Good programming skills, especially in C and Python Experience in image processing good Linux knowledge Experience with compression algorithms, modern database technologies, virtual file systems, HPC and parallel programming with OpenCL / CUDA are advantageous
