Train Traffic Controller Apprenticeship - Railway Operations Specialist 2026 (m/f/d)

September 2026 the 2-year training for the railway operator:in the train control (w/m/d). After your practice-oriented training, you can continue to qualify as a specialist in the course of the course in two years. The training as a train driver (w/m/d) takes place at DB InfraGO AG at the Regensburg site. The vocational school is located in Landshut. In the training, you are in one of the numerous control centers of the railway (called “Stellwerk”) and learn the following activities: you are testing and controlling the train with technical support, e.g. in the form of screens or display boards, so that the trains take the right path. You decide when to stop, drive or overtake the trains. You serve and set switches as well as light signals and thus influence the train traffic. In addition, you’re in contact with the engine drivers:in order to inform them about changes. Your goal is to ensure safe and smooth train traffic. Your profile: You have successfully completed your (special) abitur and have recently been immatriculated at a specialist or university Your German knowledge corresponds to at least the B2 language level Your concentrated and reliable way of working out You like to take responsibility and make decisions Communication strength and team skills are of course for you
