To lead our ambitious growth and transformation, we are looking for an experienced and visionary managing director. As Head of Finance, you are responsible for the strategic and operational management of all financial topics at PassportCard Europe. They act as a savings partner for the management, are central contact persons for internal and external stakeholders and ensure that the financial processes are efficiently, compliant and forward-looking.

Strategic financial management Development and implementation of the financial strategy in coordination with the Management and Group Finance. Implementation of business analyses, risk analyses and financial simulations to support corporate governance. Design and support of growth, investment and M&A projects. Financial assessment of new products, markets and partnerships. Controlling & reporting Establishment and further development of effective financial and performance control. Creation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts (according to HGB and IFRS). Responsibility for budget planning, forecasts, deviation analyses and KPIs. Current optimization of reporting processes and financial systems. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and accounting standards according to HGB and IFRS You manage the preparation and testing of German tax returns together with external tax advisors. Preparation and support for internal and external audits Accounting and Taxes Monitoring of proper financial accounting, debitor, creditor and asset accounting. Cooperation with external tax consultants, auditors and authorities. Responsibility for tax issues and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Team management & stakeholder management Leadership and development of a small finance team (internal/external). Close cooperation with internal departments such as sales, marketing, operations and IT. Company representation to banks, auditors, investors and authorities.

Professional qualifications Complete study of business management, ideally focusing on finance, controlling or accounting. At least 5–10 years of professional experience in the financial sector, including in senior management. Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. insurance, FinTech, HealthTech). Finded knowledge in HGB, ideally also IFRS. Very good knowledge in MS Excel, financial tools and ERP systems (e.g. DATEV, SAP). Personal competencies Entrepreneurial thinking with a high sense of responsibility. Structured, solution-oriented and analytical methods. Embossed communication and leadership skills. Hands-on mentality paired with strategic vision. Current knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
