Senior IT Project Manager (m/w/d)

The Center of Excellence (CoE) Project Management (PM) is the central home of the project managers (m/w/d) in the BWI and is responsible for the successful implementation of numerous projects in a classic, agile or hybrid way. We ensure a high level of knowledge and know-how - Transfer with our employees so that our project managers (m/w/d) can successfully achieve the exciting and challenging projects for our customers. For our CoE Project Management Application and Platform Projects (APP), we are looking for passionate and routined Senior IT Project Manager (m/w/d) with relevant project management experience, e.g. in the fields: Rz infrastructure & - automation, IT security, application operation or operation in cloud environments. Responsible management, coordination, planning and implementation of complex projects from solution development to commissioning

Translation of customer requirements into new and existing IT processes or Solutions and their professional support

Control of project staff and suppliers and management of conflicts of interest

Reporting and coordination of project results with management, departments and (external) stakeholders

Show and coordinate dependencies, changes and risks in programme and project planning in their own areas of responsibility

Project planning and controlling in terms of dates, milestones and dependencies

Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics, economics or comparable

At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in the management of complex projects in the IT environment, including professional leadership responsibility and using common project management methods (ideally with project management certification)

Experience with projects of contracting authorities, ideally the Bundeswehr

Proven project management experience in areas such as Rz infrastructure & automation, IT security, application operation or operation acquisition in cloud environments (of advantage)

Embossed customer and result orientation

Communication and team skills combined with the ability to make and implement decisions

A structured, reliable way of working, delegationability and loadability

Bundeswide readiness (approx. 30%)
