The Hamm day group (https://www.internationaler-bund.de/location/212024 ) is an intensive educational day group according to §32 SGBVIII for 8 children aged between 6 and 12 in spacious family-like premises. The 120 square meters allow optimal possibilities for learning, eating, tobs and relaxing. The children all have a child-young psychiatric report according to §35a of child and youth assistance. A mutually supportive team of three educators can intensively support and promote children and their parents - both in individual support and in group and group work. In about 20 years of experience in day groups, our employees were able to experience numerous successes and further development among the predominant primary school children.

We are looking for experienced and resilient pedagogues with a completed educational degree that have the pleasure of working with children and parents.

Your tasks:

• The tasks in the group of days are particularly interesting due to a great variety:
• Promotion and support in the social group and small group of 3-4 children
• Individual support
• School and cognitive promotion and support
• Participative support planning for the child both with the parents and the child
• Daily structuring of the group sequences
• Weekly intensive parental work and advice on educational issues
• Close cooperation in the multi-professional team
• Close cooperation with the youth office, the health system and network work
• Documentation
• Implementation of measures to protect children
• Implementation of a holiday programme in the school sector
