The Supply Planning Manager, Food & Beverage is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of supply chain management processes and technologies from vendors through to customers and joint venture partners. This position reports to the Senior Leader PSI & Business Analytics and is part of the Integrated Supply Chain Function located in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Owns and maintains the weekly/monthly Supply plan for the entire business unit and reconciles against the demand plan to highlight any gaps or major changes. Collates information and hosts/facilitates monthly Business Unit Level PSI Review (Month 2 to Month 18) with the BU GM and all key stakeholders. Responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock-outs while ensuring is turning at targeted levels. Develop tools to predict future risks, increase in accuracy in supply planning and provide insight for decision executive making. Collaborate with demand planning to develop strategic regional allocations, supply commitments and plan for the operational horizon (2-18 months) Partners with key professionals and sourcing leaders to ensure long term supply of critical raw materials based on latest Finished good demand plans. Partners with sourcing team to escalate supply shortages to executive management to disruptions to supply continuity.
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or relevant field Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning for procurement in an international manufacturing and supply chain environment. Minimum 3 years of experience using continuous improvement tools and methodologies to include lean conversions. Must possess strong reading and writing skills in English. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel regionally and internationally 25% of the time It would be a plus if you have previous experience in: Certified in Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, or similar. An experienced understanding of the RCCA (Root Causeive Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and action plan implementation. Have previous experience using an Advanced Planning System (APS) Proficiency in the German language
