The municipality of Abtsgmünd (approximately 7,700 inhabitants) is looking for 01.11.2025 (m/w/d).

This is an unlimited full-time job.

The main office comprises a competent team of 16 employees. The subjects of civil office, family and education as well as libraries are assigned to the main office.

Your tasks: • Head of the Main Office • Personnel responsibility for about 200 employees; Staff budget of more than € 8 million • General administration, legal affairs • Office of the Municipal Council with meeting service • Tourism • Economic promotion • Special tasks for the mayor

A change in the distribution of business is reserved.

We expect: • Complete training for the senior management service (Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt/in (FH), BA Public Management) or equivalent qualification with corresponding professional experience • Self-employed, targeted and result-oriented work • High resilience, flexibility and commitment, even beyond the usual hours of service • Citizen friendliness, team skills and leadership skills • Knowledge and good IT skills
