Your role You carry out measurement orders on ZEISS measuring machines – in our application center in Garching and at the customer's premises. You plan the order, set the machine, measure and document the results.

You prepare specialist and process-specific application tasks and implement them according to clear structure and defined specifications. You work autonomously and decide how to solve the task practically.

You evaluate measurement, test and test results, compare them with drawings, tolerances and specifications and draw clear conclusions from them

You will present your results to the customer and internally. You explain what you've measured, how you've done and what that means for the component or process.

You train users:inside at ZEISS measuring machines and software – in Garching and with the customer on site. You show step by step how measurement tasks are set up, carried out and evaluated.

You are in direct contact with sales, service and development and coordinate measurement orders, experiments and applications so that all participants can work with the results.

A technical training, e.g. in mechanics, mechatronics, manufacturing technology or a similar field of expertise – with technical completion or comparable further education

2–3 years of practice in the technical environment, ideally in measurement technology or application technology – you have already worked on machines or systems yourself

You can read technical drawings and derive from how and where to measure

You work accurately, question measurement results and want to understand why a part lies within or outside the tolerance

You have no bareness before customer appointments, explain your procedure clearly and solution-oriented

You are ready to regularly drive from Garching to customer operations (mainly day dates, depending on the project)
