Senior IT system administrator (m/f/d)

Operation & Development: You are responsible for the operation, maintenance and optimization of our hybrid IT infrastructure. Modernization & Architecture: You analyze existing systems, advance their modernization and develop a robust, scalable IT architecture together with team and service providers. Integration: You merge the IT infrastructures of our subsidiaries and locations into a powerful, homogeneous overall landscape. Network & Security: You support the security of our networks – ideally with experience in dealing with WatchGuard firewalls (VPN, VLANs, Security policies). Storage & Virtualization: You design and manage storage (SAN/NAS) and virtualization solutions for the high-performance processing of large amounts of data (e.g. mobile mapping, point clouds). Microsoft environment: You administrate our Windows server landscape as well as Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint) including integration into the On-Prem Active Directory. Support & Projects: You act as a contact person in 2nd and 3rd level support and guide IT subprojects at rollouts and migrations.

Complete computer science, training as a specialist:in system integration or comparable qualification with professional experience. Experience in the strategic development of IT systems, technology evaluation and the implementation of sustainable solutions Found experience in the administration of classic on-premises infrastructures (Windows Server, Ad, GPO) and in the support of hybrid scenarios Safe handling of storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup strategies Experience in the migration, consolidation and/or merger of IT systems (e.g. corporate assumptions or location networking) Experience in dealing with WatchGuard Security Appliences as well as sound knowledge in routing, switching and VPN is a prerequisite Analytical way of thinking, solution-oriented action Very good German knowledge in word and writing, good English knowledge
