Financial Accountant (m/f/d)

The German Association for Water Management, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) is committed to the development of a safe and sustainable water management. As a politically and economically independent organization, it works professionally in the fields of water management, waste water, waste and soil protection. For our Central Services and Finance Department (ZD/F) we are looking as soon as possible – indefinite – onen Financial Accountantin (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) in full time (40 hours/week).

The following activities relate to DWA and your affiliated companies: Own processing of creditor accounting and booking of payment transactions. Auditing and accounting of business incidents, travel expenses and the DWA cash register. Preparation of the annual accounts of DWA including comprehensive account clarification. Processing of accounts and provisions. Master data management of creditors. Editing KSK messages (Künstlersozialkasse). Takeover and control of selected projects in the field of financial accounting. Support for concerns about the Phoenix and Varial software programs. Settlement of payments in S-company (bank management program).

Completed commercial training with several years of relevant professional experience in accounting. In-depth knowledge of financial accounting and experience in tax law as well as legal tax issues. Very good knowledge of accounting, customer relationship management (CRM) and data management programs (Varial, Phoenix) as well as good knowledge of the current MS Office programs (especially Excel). Very good communication and organizational skills, independent and accurate work, a pronounced customer orientation, responsibility and team capacity are of course for you. Safe mastery of the German language.
