Data Protection Officer (m/f/d)

You are the central guardian of our data protection principles. You monitor the implementation of all data protection requirements and ensure compliance with legal requirements throughout the company As a competent contact person, you proactively advise our departments on all data protection issues, especially when introducing new IT solutions or in projects. You also support the professional processing of data subject requests (departure, erasure etc.) and as part of the documentation of the processing activities You evaluate and document (possible) data protection violations and take over the communication with the supervisory authorities independently Examination and creation of contracts (including AVV, Joint Controller Agreements) with regard to data protection requirements is one of your tasks as well as the implementation of data protection impact assessments, the review and implementation of control planning, including risk assessments and control of individual processing activities, and support in the implementation of DSFA. In addition, you are the contact person for (external) examiner and the data protection supervisory authority You continuously develop our data protection documentation. In addition, you will start regular reporting, the annual data protection report and report directly to the department management and the management board You design and carry out training for our employees and thus increase data protection competence throughout the company

You have a degree, for example in law, economics or IT, or a comparable qualification You convince with pronounced analytical and organizational skills Knowledge of current domestic and European data protection legislation as well as knowledge of the current case law are available to you to a considerable extent You bring relevant professional experience in data protection and are able to implement regulatory requirements legally and pragmatically Terms like VVT, DSFA or TIA are familiar to you Knowledge about AI, cloud services and other modern technologies characterize you As a responsible, communicative and reliable personality, you are experienced in dealing with different stakeholders and have a high degree of self-initiative and viability Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile
