Our research is mainly based on the Rhineland study, a prospective cohort study focused on deep phenotyping of the participants. The comprehensive data collection includes detailed structural and functional imaging of the brain, cognitive testing, cardiovascular investigations, the examination of sensory systems, questions on medical history, lifestyle, nutrition and mental health, the collection of medicines and the collection of biomaterials.
