Position Overview: For our internal audit team, we are looking for you to join with a strong background in risk management and commercial expertise in energy trading or portfolio management. This role is pivotal in identifying and mitigating risks around our commercial activities and ensuring the robustness of our operations. While your internal audit skills can be further developed during onboarding, your risk and commercial acumen will be crucial from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform internal audit services with focus on energy trading, portfolio optimisation and risk management

• Analysis and assessment organisational structures and processes related risks and mitigating controls

• Collaborate trustfully with cross-functional teams to strengthen Unipers compliance, risk management and control framework

• Develop recommendations for improvements and risk mitigation in close alignment with the business and share strategic insights to senior management

• Drive our continuous improvement journey by making use of data and technology

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA, FRM) is preferred

• Several years of experience in risk management and trading related roles, ideally within the energy sector. Internal audit experience would be a plus

• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of energy markets, trading dynamics and related risks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cooperate with various teams and senior stakeholders

• Team player with professional curiosity, critical thinking and attention to detail

• Enthusiasm about new challenges and eagerness to learn and develop

• High degree of ownership and drive to carry out tightly structured audits

• Fluent in written and spoken English, other languages are a plus
