(Senior) Legal Counsel Digital, IT and Data Protection (m/w/d)

In close cooperation with the business units concerned, this area manages all the legal matters of the OBI Group concerning its digital transformation and coordinates the local legal departments in countries with OBI presence. As a full lawyer / syndicate attorney, you support OBI in the digital transformation You advise in the Group on IT issues with particular emphasis on e-commerce, X-channel and media marketing and data protection You create, audit and negotiate contracts, including SaaS and Cloud You work in international projects and are in close contact with the OBI group, e.g. within the heyOBI online platform You test and evaluate legal developments, e.g. the GDPR, the AI Regulation, the Data Act or the Digital Services Act You always take into account the data protection law and agree with the responsible data protection coordinator and/or data protection officer of OBI. In addition, you support local legal departments in countries with OBI presence in cross-border legal issues in your specialty.

You are a full lawyer (m/w/d) and you are ideally at least. 5 years of professional experience in a law firm or the legal department of a company, best focused on IT law.
