Senior Specialist (m/w/d) Local Process Management

METRO LOGISTICS is a nationally active service provider for procurement, distribution and contract logistics as well as for logistics fan in e-commerce. METRO LOGISTICS operates eight multi-user logistics centers at geo-optimal nodes in Germany with a storage area of around 500,000 m2. The warehouse and distribution logistics services are aimed at various industries, including food logistics with all temperature zones. In addition, METRO LOGISTICS controls the transport management for various trading companies. Various value added services and consulting services complement the performance portfolio. Tasks Responsibility for the processes at Kirchheim and Bergkirchen Responsibility for the accompanying KPIs in logistic optimization projects, also in cooperation with our customers Development of concepts, e.g. in the sense of lean management, for sustainable process and cost optimization in the logistics locations of METRO LOGISTICS Active support of Tender Management as part of offerings Self-organization and moderation of workshops on existing and newly planned processes in the logistics locations of METRO LOGISTICS Training of employees and executives to realize a continuous optimization process of processes and KPIs Developing meaningful benchmarks together with the operational controlling Development of cost/benefit analyses for new process approaches and standards

Requirements Successfully completed university/higher education in economics, economic engineering or comparable Relevant training and ideally well-founded experience in Lean Management and/or Six Sigma Proven successes in the mediation and implementation of methods for the sustainable improvement of (operative and administrative) processes Personal profile High interest and very good competence in the methodology for process acquisition, assessment and continuous improvement Impressed communication and conflict resolution capabilities at both site and management level Enforcement and Persuasion Ability to motivate colleagues at different hierarchical levels to question processes readiness for regular service trips to Bergkirchen
