Monitoring and maintenance and quality information for ICE and (P)HEV systems to address field quality issues early on Initiating and conducting claims and field investigations for root cause identification of ICE- and (P)HEV-related quality issues Collaborating with R&D, suppliers and suppliers to support our countermeasure development and validation processes Preparing technical reports and summaries based on results of investigations Detecting and benchmarking competitor trends and new powertrain technology
Successful completion of a state certified technician degree with a focus on electrical and/or automotive technology; trend: technical master's degree with relevant work experience Professional experience in a similar role with an OEM or Tier-1 supplier Strong technical knowledge, diagnostic expertise, and understanding of repair methods for ICE and (P)HEV powertrains, as well as related 12 V systems Diagnostic experience with automated transmission systems preferred Familiarity with automotive measurement software (ETAS INCA, Vector CANape, etc.) Proficiency in MS Office applications Fluent written and spoken English language skills Strong organizational, time management and analytical thinking skills as well as a drive to deliver results Self-motivated and flexible character with a strong interest in working within an international team Willingness for regular business travels within Germany and Europe Valid class B European driver's license
