Mission garbage – Your waste is our mission

The municipal waste management company Nuremberg (ASN) takes care of waste disposal and recycling management for around 1 million people in the metropolitan region. At ASN, 430 dedicated people work to ensure that the disposal works smoothly and we get the best out of the garbage. We empty the tons, return valuables to circulation and operate a modern waste incineration plant that supplies electricity and district heating for Nuremberg. In this way, we set the foundation for a high-quality, environmentally friendly and sustainable waste and resource strategy for Nuremberg and surrounding communities and counties.

These are your tasks

• Conducting test, maintenance and repair work on sanitary facilities, heating and household electrical equipment
• Maintenance of different fire alarm systems in the different building complexes including monitoring and troubleshooting
• Termination agreement and assistance in the testing and maintenance of the plants with the competent foreign companies
• Protection and maintenance of the outdoor installation on ASN premises
• General housekeeping activities in all buildings of ASN incl. Maintenance
• Closure and cleaning of the farm and building ASN administration

This is your profile For activity you need

• A successful completion of vocational training as a plant mechanic (w/m/d) for sanitary, heating and air conditioning, electronics (w/m/d) or comparable vocational training
• Full health suitability for activity
• A license class B

In addition, you have

• Practical experience in maintenance and maintenance work in the master's department
• Training readiness (Electrotechnically instructed person, hygiene training category B)
• Teamability and reliability and intercultural competence
• Structured and conscientious operation
• Careful to carry out the commissioned work
• Basic knowledge of MS-Office
• Technical understanding and craftsmanship
• Responsible action in the troubleshooting, maintenance and testing of industrial plants
