We are looking for the waste industry Stuttgart (AWS) of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay.

The AWS employs around 1,000 employees in the headquarters on Stöckach and at various locations throughout the city. Our tasks include collecting and conveying waste, road cleaning, winter service and central urban fleet management with its own workshop. We also operate a mineral landfill and several valuables. The area of problem and valuables collection is primarily responsible for the mobile collection and transport of problem and valuables from private households throughout the city. As a disponent, you are an essential part of the planning and coordination and contribute to the successful implementation and development of this important task.

• You take over the function of the deputy management of the operating range of the problem and value collection within the property and ensure a smooth operation
• They guide the employees of the area professionally, direct them actively, carry out instructions and organize the incorporation of new employees
• You plan and control personnel and vehicle use, run the electronic operating diary and actively develop further digital communications
• They coordinate and monitor all hazardous and waste legislation and actively contribute to improving workflows
• You make sure that the performance and quality requirements are complied with and that incoming complaints are processed
• They carry out the collection and detection of operating and disposal data and take care of documentation and reporting

Your profile that suits us

• completed training or studies in the field of logistics, waste management, environmental protection or comparable qualification (required for state recognition in foreign degrees)
• ideally knowledge of hazardous goods and hazardous materials law as well as first professional experience in the MRP and personnel management, preferably in the logistics or disposal industry
• Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and direct employees
• Structured, analytical, service- and solution-oriented operation
• Ready to use outdoors, work on Saturdays and, if necessary, in collective operation
• Class B licence is advantageous
