As part of our central team, you support the operational fight against money laundering, terrorist financing and other criminal activities. You are both a detective and a “tester” in one. Your task is to identify suspicious transactions and patterns that are intended to conceal criminal machinations. You make sure that as a savings bank we meet all legal and supervisory requirements and thus contribute significantly to continuously developing and optimizing our processes. This important function within the savings bank is not only a future-proof workplace, but also an extremely varied and responsible activity. Your tasks Check suspicions – daily processing and testing of different suspicions of money laundering, sanctions or terrorist financing Answer regulatory enquiries – competent processing of requests for information from public prosecutors, financial offices, police and other authorities Classify high-risk customers – analysis and assessment of customers with increased risk and deriving appropriate measures Editing suspicion messages – creating and submitting suspicion messages as well as processing internal evidence Conduct PEP audits – systematic review of customers on politically exposed persons (PEP) and documentation of results Analyzing transactions – evaluating customer transactions and payment flows for early detection of potential abuses Support process optimization – participation in the further development of internal processes and controls in the area of money laundering prevention Your profile Successfully completed training as a bank clerk or savings bank clerk (m/w/d) You have a high digital affinity and joy in working together in a small, dedicated team Detailed and solution-oriented operation, structured and self-responsive action are part of your everyday life You like to work cooperatively and support your colleagues.
