Legal Adviser for the Legal Department (m/f/d)

indefinitely, in parttime from 19.5 industrial hours / week to full time and with payment by pay group 14 TVöD.

You are part of our judiciary, which has been in existence for two years, and develop it together. You advise departments, departments, staff and private enterprises on all legal issues, represent the city to the outside, coordinate external legal advice and strengthen our internal compliance structures. In addition, you will be able to make legal issues tangible for employees through training, clear language and a good sense of practice.

As part of our team, you are not only the legal expert (m/w/d), but also a key player (m/w/d), who ensures that all activities of the city administration comply with the highest legal standards. That's why we expect: (m/w/d) with over-average exam results, ideally multiannual experience in the public sector and sound knowledge in administrative and civil law, strong enforcement and negotiation strength, consensorial working and team skills, innovative thinking and the ability to find creative solutions for complex legal and actual challenges; and excellent communication skills.
