Senior Principal Systems Engineer Overall System Architecture and Requirements Management (m/f/d)

As a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, you keep the technical threads of our weapon system in your hands. You are responsible for the overall architecture, bring together the disciplines and meet the design decisions that determine the performance and suitability of our missiles. You are responsible for the overall technical architecture of the weapon system You guide requirements, specify and apply them to system, subsystem and component levels You ensure the technical consistency across all disciplines You control technical trade-off analyses and meet sound design decisions You coordinate aerodynamics, mechanics, electronics, navigation and software to a continuous overall system You support verification and validation across the entire development cycle

That's what you bring: Complete study of aerospace technology, electrical engineering, system technology or a comparable field Multiannual experience with missile, aviation or comparable complex systems Found experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Management Knowledge of military requirements and operational scenarios Pragmatic, result-oriented working with a pronounced systemic thinking Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English Nationality of an EU or NATO Member State (except the USA) and readiness to review the security under SÜG desirable / of advantage: Detection of successful development of hardware to flight testing Experience with MBSE or SysML as well as knowledge of relevant military and aviation standards Knowledge of Electronic Warfare
