As a Research Scientist in our team, you will be at the forefront of adhesive innovation, developing and optimizing rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesives. Your work will involve: Designing and executing experimental plans, conducting hands-on lab work, and evaluating adhesive and tape samples. Leading or supporting technology and product development projects. Developing compounding processes and scaling up formulations from laboratory to commercial production. Identifying, testing, and evaluating new materials while independent managing supplier interactions. Presenting research findings internally, both orally and in written form. Contributing to intellectual property (IP) protection efforts for research and development advancements.
PhD or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field. Industry experience is beneficial but not required. Knowledge of rubber compounding and polymeric physics and deepthreat analytical polymeric understanding is a plus. Strong analytical, independent, and problem-solving skills with a structured and team-oriented approach. Hands-on experience in laboratory research and experimental design. Excellent communication and networking skills, with confidence in presenting research findings. Experience in project and data management is balancing. Full professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.
