Claims processing – Transport & Marine (m/f/d)

Examination of the coverage and the amount of damage taking into account insurance contracts and authorisations Coordination with insurers in transactions outside the agency Acquisition of information, clarification of facts and coordination with all stakeholders Comprehensive assessment of damages according to the respective liability standards Collection, processing and booking of damages according to regulatory authority Preparation of major damage Regression and monitoring of process processes Correspondence with customers, lawyers, experts and insurers Data management, digital file management and creation of reports Support in optimizing damage management

Completed commercial training (insurance, forwarding, bank, industry, wholesale) or studies in BWL, law or comparable discipline At least 3 years of professional experience in damage processing, ideally in the transport insurance environment Independent negotiation and assessment competence with various parties Assessment and processing of damages to cover, liability and regulation Knowledge of transport law Experience with large-scale damage processing and damage monitoring
