IT Product and Application Manager SAP BW (m/f/d)

From the specification to the tendering, awarding, quality assurance and order control to logistics and processing, Bw Clothingsmanagement GmbH (BwBM) is responsible for the entire value chain of the Bundeswehr clothing – from shoes to helmet. Now we are looking for someone who not only runs this infrastructure, but professionally develops – with a technical depth and clear view of business processes. In this respect, we at the Cologne site consider the role of IT Product and Application Manager SAP BW (w/m/d) Team Central Applications | Cologne in an indefinite fixed order. In this role, you assume the technical responsibility for SAP BW/4HANA: from data modelling to ETL processes to the further development of the reporting landscape – in close coordination with controlling and specialist departments.

You combine technical SAP expertise with analytical understanding of business requirements. Your duties include: Central IT contact for all questions about SAP BW/4HANA – for specialist areas, project teams and external service providers Development and maintenance of tailor-made data models as well as reports to support controlling and corporate management Optimization of reporting functionality: from the KPI definition together with the specialist departments to the dashboard conversion Responsibility for data extraction, transformation and charging processes (ETL) Ensuring data integrity and quality by establishing and monitoring relevant policies Knowledge building and transfer in the team and in the direction of the specialist areas

The focus is on the ability to translate complex data requirements into technically feasible solutions – structured, strong in communication and with self-responsibility. Ideally you bring: Multiannual professional practice in the SAP BW/4HANA environment – in product management, project management or a comparable IT role Funded knowledge of ABAP development and implementation and customization within SAP BW Complete study of (economic) informatics, BWL or a comparable qualification Knowledge of agile procedures (e.g. Scrum) are advantageous Flowing German Knowledge in Word and Writing (C2) Why the role of us is exciting SAP BW/4HANA is a central component of corporate management at BwBM.
