Evaluate, develop and coordinate technical concepts for IP/MPLS networks in the context of critical infrastructures Planning and further development of high-availability IP-MPLS backbone architectures Configure, integrate and operate routers and network components (Cisco, Nokia) Technical support in implementing customer and infrastructure projects in the IP/MPLS environment Conducting bug analysis and troubleshooting in productive IP networks (Routing, MPLS, QoS) Creating Low Level Designs (LLD) as part of the project implementation Participation in Proof of Concepts (PoC) and validation of new technologies and functions (e.g. Segment Routing) Documentation of network architectures, configurations and operating concepts according to KRITIS requirements Ensure the stability, availability and security of the IP/MPLS infrastructure used Support in continuous optimization and modernisation of the network environment

Completed university studies in computer science, information and telecommunications technology, communications technology, software engineering First professional experience in software solutions, ideally in IP design, MPLS, or in general IP design First knowledge and experience in the field of IP, transmission and access technologies and networks as well as IT infrastructures as well as in the development and implementation of IP projects Knowledge required in Cisco, Nokia desirable Self-employed, structured approach, communication strength and innovative capability German and fluent English knowledge in word and writing
