IT system administrator (m/f/d)

Server management: configuration, maintenance and monitoring of servers, both physically and virtually. This includes the installation of operating systems, updating software, ensuring security and optimizing server performance. Network infrastructure: management and maintenance of network components such as routers, switches, firewalls and VPNs. Ensuring smooth network operation and eliminating network problems. User management: creation, updating and deactivation of user accounts and access rights. Monitoring user activities and compliance with security policies. Security and Privacy: Implementation and monitoring of security policies and measures to protect IT systems from threats. Updating security patches and virus protection software. Hardware management: procurement, installation and maintenance of hardware components such as servers, work stations, printers and peripheral devices. Software management: provision and update of software applications to the user's workstations. License management and software distribution. Monitoring and performance optimization: monitoring system performance and identifying bottlenecks or problems. Optimization of IT infrastructure to maximize performance. Planning and scaling: planning and implementing measures to scale IT infrastructure to meet the growing requirements of the company.

Successfully completed studies of informatics and Information technology, training in the field of system administration or comparable training

Good knowledge of the virtualization environment and how to use Linux and Windows operating systems Enhanced knowledge in the application of Microsoft Office programs A quick conception and pronounced communication skills, as well as targeted, analytical thinking Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
