We are looking at the next possible time in full time (39.83 hours/week = 100 %; Parttime is possible) Projektmanager (m/w/d) - Cybersecurity, Innovation & Startups In our office of the Horst-Görtz-Institut für IT-Sicherheit (HGI), we are looking for a dedicated technology and transfer manager (m/w/d) in full time (39.83 hours/week) for our founding incubator CUBE 5 at the next possible time. Parttime is possible. The job is limited to two years and long-term employment is targeted. HGI is one of the most renowned institutes in the field of cyber security in Europe. It is home to Europe's largest cyber security training program, has extensive networks in science and practice and has produced numerous successful start-ups in the field of cyber security. CUBE 5 accompanies and supports visionary deep-tech teams from idea discovery to market maturity.

As a technology and transfer manager (m/w/d), you network ambitious founders, venture capitalists, business angels and industrial partners. You accompany the teams throughout the development cycle and promote the implementation of innovative ideas. Advise: Individual support, advice and coaching of founding interested in IT security Supporting funding programmes: Active support and support of founding teams during the submission of applications in the BMFTR support programs “StartUpSecure” and “StartUpConnect” Support: Organisation of meetings of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Board on the BMFTR Programmes “StartUpSecure” and “StartUpConnect” Community Management and Awareness: Conception and implementation of target group-oriented events for start-up interested parties from IT security research, networking Conception and development: cooperation in the further and new development of our offers to support foundation projects among students and researchers Interne Kommunikation: With students, doctoral students, professors and other actors in the RUB foundation funding

Successfully completed university studies (master or university diploma), desirable in the field of economic, human or social sciences or in the field of IT security, computer science or electrical engineering First knowledge of the IT security ecosystem in Bochum/within the Ruhr area, relevant actors and events Own founding experience, experience in organizing workshops and developing coaching concepts for start-up-interested young scientists Interest in the research field of IT security and technical content Experience in consulting on business topics Entrepreneurial thinking, affinity for startups and IT security Experience in third-party applications Very good communication skills - German and English - in word and writing Willingness to participate in relevant events, in exceptional cases also in the evening hours
