Senior Consultant (m/w/d) – Business Department / Sales (Container Navigation)

We are a shipping agency and with more than 500 employees in Europe we represent the interests of a Taiwan shipping company in container transport. We process import and export, organize advances and follow-ups from/to the charging/solving ports and represent the shipowner on the market. The headquarters and European headquarters are Hamburg.

Your duties

• Organisation and implementation of sales activities and visits and preparation of corresponding reports
• Processing of freight requests and freight negotiations with customers and shipping companies
• Inquiries and quotations of domestic freight
• Revision of “Special Quotations” and “Service Contracts”
• Processing of tenders and their contract design up to signature maturity
• Deposit of the terms and conditions agreed with the customers in internal systems
• Allocation control and coordination with the Space Controller
• Reservation of cargo hold / loading places on our ships for our customers
• Processing / processing of customer complaints

Your profile

• Complete commercial training in logistics and/or shipping
• Sales experience desirable
• At least good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
• Communication strength and negotiation skills
• Certain working methods and team skills
• Class B driving licence
