Regulatory & Standardization Manager*

You represent the DAW in defined committees or working groups. In doing so, you actively shape yourself and your experiences yourself. You take over the management and coordination of relevant international and local associations or test institutes within the construction industry. You define important standards bodies or working groups within these institutions that have influence or significance. You coordinate the representation of interests in these bodies with regard to our “DAW position” and internal responsibilities for participation. You influence the current discussions in the interest of the DAW in the defined network associations and institutes. You implement an internal network to monitor, discuss and evaluate ongoing discussions and evaluate the impact on our business. You establish a continuous feedback circuit and exchange with countries, portfolio divisions, R&E and DAW management about important developments.

You have a degree in engineering, civil engineering, architecture or a civil engineer with many years of professional experience You can rely on several years of professional experience in the construction industry, for example in the field of facade, plaster, spatula masses and colors. You have a strong technical understanding and interest in the technical topics of our industry. Your strengths are communication, organization and strategic and targeted thinking and acting. This allows you to build a strong network of internal and external stakeholders. You have a sovereign appearance, good presentation skills and can convey complex issues in a targeted manner. You communicate very safely and efficiently in German and English. You are ready for well-planned business trips within Germany and abroad (10 – 15 %)
