The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Pfalz in Eisenberg is a youth support facility with children's village families and groups of homes, a children's day and a consulting and family centre. For our SOS Children's Village Pfalz we are looking for an early date or 01.07.2026 Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.) In this position, your main area of responsibility lies in the care and development of children and young people within a children's village family. You are closely connected to the Kinderdorf Mutter and the entire team. This position offers you the opportunity to exert a positive influence on the development of children and young people in the long term and to make a valuable contribution to shaping their habitat. Their responsibility extends to long-term education, while actively supporting children and young people in their learning and leisure activities. Your cooperation in the help planning will help you to take into account the individual needs of children and young people and to provide the best possible care. As part of the children's village family you support the children's village mother in all educational tasks. To this end, cooperation with children's caregivers, accompaniment of doctor's visits, guidance on homework and teaching techniques, offers in leisure design and much more. You are conscientiously implementing the protection of children and persons.

You have completed training for educators with state recognition or a university degree of social education. Ideally, you will have first experiences in child and youth assistance. You support and accompany the children of the children's village family in their daily lives and are interested in long-term processes. You are a communal and early person who can motivate others well. At the same time, you are attentive and aware of the problems affecting children affected by the behaviour. Dealing with new media is important to you and you are happy to work on the conception of media education. Your handling of the areas and distance to the representatives is professional.
