Segment Developer Chemical / Paper Industry (m/f/d)

You develop customized large scale on-site energy solutions for the chemical or paper industry in our core markets and help support the segment's growth ambitions, promote decarbonization and strengthen competitiveness You analyze market trends, customer needs and competitors, identify new business opportunities and optimize the existing solution portfolio - with the aim of building a strong project pipeline for the segment You are responsible for the identification and address of new customers within the chemical and paper industry and are successfully consulting your powerful network, including internal stakeholders You develop business cases and energy concepts for customers, conduct contract negotiations and present offers before the customer and the E.ON management You are driving decarbonization by using various technologies such as KWK, Biomass, Recycled Energy, Waste2Energy, Green Molecules, Heat Pumps, Batteries and Digitization with IQ Energy and taking responsibility for all project management tasks in a multidisciplinary, international team up to contract signing

Higher education in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, business, energy engineering or a comparable degree programme with a strong technical focus; an MBA is advantageous Comprehensive experience in the chemical and/or paper industry, with detectable expertise in the fields of customer acquisition and sales, development of industrial energy solutions and/or project development Knowledge of the design of energy systems, including regulatory and energy aspects Ability to fully integrate technical, commercial and legal project requirements and effectively manage internal and external interfaces Strong entrepreneurial thinking with a high self-initiative and the ability to structure complex problems and take responsibility for implementation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build sustainable relationships with customers and stakeholders in an international environment Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (at least B2); Ready to travel regularly (approx. 20%)
