Number: MER0003ZY6 What are we doing? Everyone talks about digitalization, for us it has long been everyday. In the Digital Engineering department of the Mercedes-Benz start-up factory, we already secure the construction of all new Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the digital phase. We are already entering the development process early on and support the concept development on the basis of the experience from previous models and defined concept standards – and that before the first hardware is built up. The Digital Mock-Up team supports the development of prototypes with a focus on the digital phases. The team is also responsible for the optimization and further development of processes and methods as well as for the implementation of the latest digital technologies in the start-up factory. Are you passionate about digital topics and how close to our great vehicles? Do you like to tackle complex challenges and keep a cool head in virtual situations? These challenges include: Working with the introduction of Extended Reality Service Testing and application of new VR/AR/XR technologies Support of the ARea50-3 our XR LAB Organization and implementation of workshops and center events Design of communication documents / processes Task Tracking for Digitization Initiatives and Working Group The activity can begin from September 2026.

Study programme in the field of engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or comparable study programme Interest in ''IT 4 Production', in particular VR/AR/XR, PDM and CAD Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Commitment and team skills - Programming skills are beneficial (C#) Analytical thinking and strategic working Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with a specification of the semester, if necessary.
