For our new logistics center in Diemelstadt we are looking for an experienced management personality as a warehouse manager (m/w/d) – contract logistics. In this key position, you take over the overall responsibility for operating the warehouse. Together with your leadership team, you will ensure a smooth process, develop processes and ensure the highest customer satisfaction. Not only do you bring your experience in contract logistics, but also your passion for efficient structures, employee management and the implementation of strategic goals.

Take responsibility: You control and optimize all operating processes with a focus on 100% customer satisfaction and KPIs.

Team leadership: They run your warehouse team of about 400 colleagues professionally and disciplinaryly, plan personnel deployment and coordinate service providers.

Customer contact: As POC, you ensure compliance and further development of quality and performance indicators.

Efficiency & Security: You optimize processes and ensure compliance with all legal and internal standards.

Further development: They secure the structured integration and promote your team through training.

Coaching: With regular feedback talks, you can strengthen individual development and achievement.

Representation: They represent the location manager and take over the holiday planning in the team.

Technical basis: completed studies in logistics, BWL, VWL or a comparable area – alternatively a suitable further education in logistics. Experience & leadership: Multiannual practice in contract logistics and leadership of large teams (approximately 200 employees) at a comparable level. Operational competence: deep understanding of logistical processes and experience with QSHE approaches such as Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma. Languages: Safe for negotiation in German and English. Project & Social Competence: First experience in project management as well as convincing communication strength, team skills and leadership skills. Personality: Analytical, assertive, solution-oriented and pay-affin – with a spirit of innovation. Working: Dynamic, flexible, responsible and team-oriented with hands-on mentality.
