They work in the interdisciplinary research group ''KI in der Krebsforschung'' at the University Hospital Dresden, which develops data-driven solutions to support clinical decision-making in hematology. The work combines methods of machine learning with comprehensive clinical data to address challenges in the areas of prediction, prediction and personalized medicine. Your tasks:

Design and implementation of machine learning pipelines for structured clinical records Development of frameworks for the generation of synthetic data (tabellar) for clinical research Analysis and visualization of model outputs for generating interpretable results Participation in scientific publications and conference contributions

Perfect - Your profile:

completed studies in the field of computer science, data science, bioinformatics or a related subject (Bachelor or Master) Funded programming knowledge in Python, in particular for complex data analyses with pandas, scikit-learn and data visualization with matplotlib and/or seaborn Confidence with versioned, collaborative research environments (e.g. Git) Solid understanding of the entire ML workflow (data preprocessing and feature engineering, model selection and training Validation and evaluation Experiences with biomedical data, clinical research, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch or Tensorflow) are desirable very good knowledge of English as the working language in the team is English
