In the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, in the Educational Area of Massivbau (direction from 01.10.2026: Dr.-Ing. David Sanio), we are looking for support.

• Independent cooperation with innovative research in the fields of circular construction with concrete, bridge construction and experimental research in reinforced concrete construction
• Independent cooperation in the development of reinforcing and connecting techniques in reinforced concrete construction with automated processes
• independent planning, implementation and evaluation of experimental studies
• Participation in the planning and scientific organization of research applications
• Creation of scientific publications and participation in specialist conferences
• Representation of own research to other scientists
• Development of an individual research profile in the scientific environment of the chair team
• Participation in the joint development of innovative teaching formats for solid construction in the Bachelor and Master's degree program Civil Engineering
• Own implementation of training and supervision of courses and student work (in the amount of 4 LVS)

• Complete university studies (master or comparable) in civil engineering with deepening in constructive engineering or in a thematically related discipline
• Above-average degree programs in solid construction or comparable services
• Ability to analytical, structured and independent work
• Extensive interest in complex issues and basic research
• Social and communicative competence
• Very good English skills
• German knowledge at least at level B

These are three training centres within the meaning of the Science Time Contract Act (WissZeitVG), which can be employed to promote scientific or artistic qualification. The duration of the respective contract of employment is appropriately designed for the desired scientific qualification.
