Conducting research projects on pathophysiology of diabetes, obesity and age-associated endocrine dysfunction metabolic phenotyping in mouse models and investigation of pancreatic island cells Analysis of TRP channel and GPCR signal paths and pharmacological modulation of these systems Application of in vivo, cellular and molecular techniques Support for teaching and mentoring tasks within the research group Documentation, data analysis and preparation of scientific publications
Master degree in Biology, Cell Biology or Biochemistry Laboratory experience, ideally in sterile working conditions and cell culture experience in dealing with mice; Certificate (e.g. LAS interactive) of advantage Interest in research, analytical thinking and curiosity good knowledge of English; Basic knowledge in German for participation in courses and teamwork Joy of interdisciplinary cooperation and teaching activities
