As Group Legal Counsel Germany Deputy & General Counsel, you are organisationally anchored in Group Legal at the Head Office in Wolkersdorf and assume the overall legal responsibility for our German companies from there. At the same time, you are actively involved in group-wide legal and governance issues and represent the General Counsel in the direction of the Group's legal and governance area. Primary Responsibility for Germany Comprehensive legal advice and support for management and specialist departments in Germany in all legal issues, in particular in contractual, corporate and economic law, as well as in ethics & compliance and data protection. Own creation, testing and negotiation of contracts with customers, suppliers and other business partners of the German subsidiaries. Management of external legal advisers, supervision of legal proceedings and representation of the company to external lawyers and authorities in Germany. Ensuring compliance with internal corporate governance policies and processes. Group-wide tasks/control from Austria Close cooperation with the General Counsel of the Powerlines Group (direct report line) and its representation in all matters of the Group's legal area. Accompanying M&A transactions and the establishment of subsidiaries in all legal matters. Participation in the implementation of Group-wide governance, ethics-&-compliance issues and continuous monitoring of legal developments to identify and minimize risks at an early stage. Your profile: Completed study of law and successfully completed 2nd state exams. Long-term and extensive professional experience as a full lawyer in the aforementioned legal areas, ideally in an international company or Group or a renowned firm. Knowledge of contract, company, business law, ethics & compliance/data protection and M&A. Depth economic understanding and the ability to recognize economic relationships and right. assessing risks pragmatically and solution-oriented. High self-initiative, resilience and an independent, solution-oriented way of working. Team skills, cooperation and excellent communication skills in German and English in word and writing. readiness for travel activities.
