Tasks

• They support the creation and analysis of IFRS-compliant Group Financial Reports, implementation of Group Consolidation and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting.
• The application and support of complex accounting standards (IFRS, in particular IFRS 15 in shipbuilding), implementation of intercompany agreements and advice on complex transactions is taken over by you.
• They work closely with local financial teams, business units and external service providers to review and coordinate group reporting packages, optimize financial reporting, align accounting policies and provide assistance.
• They are involved in initiatives to automate and digitize financial reporting processes and implement best practices to increase efficiency.
• They support compliance with capital market requirements, ensuring the IFRS governance at Group level and preparing as well as carrying out consolidated financial statements and audits.
• They create financial analyses and recommendations for internal stakeholders and support the integration of financial reports into the corporate structure.

Profile

• They bring a completed degree with a focus on areas such as Accounting/ Audit, Finance or a related area.
• They have first experience in accounting or a comparable function.
• You have theoretical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• You have already gained experience in handling consolidation tools and ERP systems, ideally SAP, as well as the classic office packages.
• Your ability to work together in an international team and a proactive way of working.
• Your profile is rounded off by good communication skills in German and English.
