The circular city of Wilhelmshaven is looking for one/one at the next possible date City Council (m/w/d).

The appointment shall be made into the civil service for a term of eight years. The isolation depends on the grade B 4 NBesG. In addition, compensation may be granted in accordance with the statutory provisions.

You run a department with the following departments and holdings: Law Office Kulturbüro und Stadtarchiv Jobcenter, Social and Health Youth, Family, Sports and Education Local council

The tendering procedure shall be based on the distribution of the currently in force. In the course of the establishment of the newly elected Council and a possible restructuring of the administrative organisation, the allocation of individual tasks may change. the ability to become a judge's office (successfully completed as much as possible with the note of satisfactory second legal state examination), a multiannual professional experience (at least 5 years desirable) as far as possible in a local, regional or federal administration, sound knowledge of public law and the tasks of the department; multi-year demonstrable leadership experience with personnel and organisational responsibility, comprehensive knowledge of municipal administrative structures and experiences in trusting cooperation with political bodies.

As a member of the management, you actively shape the strategic development of the city administration and represent the interests of the city of Wilhelmshaven both within the administration and across politics, business, associations and the public.

We expect a high degree of decision-making, communication strength, negotiation skills and social competence. You convince by a safe occurrence, integrity and the ability to make sustainable and comprehensible decisions even in demanding situations.

A professional approach to media representatives as well as the ability to communicate complex issues in a comprehensible and transparent manner are provided.
