Commissioning engineer for prototype trucks (m/f/d)

For our partner we are looking for a qualified specialist as an operator for prototype trucks (m/w/d). Description Start-up & software updates: You take over the initial operation and the introduction of software updates to the most modern heavy commercial vehicles (including Actros, Arocs and full-electric platforms such as the eActros). You control this process analogy to a modern ''software station''. System Flashing & Diagnosis: Using special tools such as DTS Monaco, Diagnostic Link and Vector vFlash, you play control software and parameterize the vehicle systems. EE-Troubleshooting: You operate systematic troubleshooting and deep electric/electronic/trouble shooting (EE), with a special focus on high-voltage systems Data analysis & measurement: To locate errors in the bus systems and control units, use professional Vector tools such as CANape, CANoe and CANalyzer and evaluate the measurement data precisely.

Education: Successfully completed training for motor vehicle mechatronics (m/w/d) with a focus on commercial vehicle technology, further education on the motor vehicle master/technician (m/w/d) or a comparable study (e.g. vehicle technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics). High Voltage: Compulsory certification is required as a specialist for high-voltage technology (EFK or DGUV Information 209-093, level 3 / work under tension) in order to be able to work safely on the HV systems of the electric truck. Tool competence: Funded, practical experience in dealing with diagnostic and flash tools (DTS Monaco, Diagnostic Link, vFlash) as well as development and analysis tools from Vector (CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer). Industry knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial vehicle technology, its system architectures and the common automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet). Further requirements:

Driving permit: Valid driving licence of the CE (incl. characteristic 95) class to move and test prototypes and heavy commercial vehicles on test routes and in public spaces.
