At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in a private business, e.g. as a syndicate attorney. A successfully completed second legal state exam. Preference is given to specialized areas in the following legal areas IT law, data protection, AI regulation, trademark and patent law, licensing law, medical law. A detectable track record regarding the construction and further development of a legal division ideally in a medium-sized company. A awareness of pragmatic solutions and a business-oriented mindset. A proactive communication, discursability and enforcement capability regarding deadlines.

You conduct the legal department in a disciplined and professional manner, develop it further and position it as a solution-oriented partner in the company. You advise the management and executives strategically to legal opportunities & risks in line with the business goals. The company's holistic legal support from contract management to claim implementation to process representation is taken over by you. You design and control the network of external firms. You prioritise the legal issues in consultation with the management and ensure the efficient use of existing resources.
