Civil Engineer Constructive in Shore Power Projects

The Technical Division (TD) is responsible for the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of the core harbour infrastructure with a total of around 600 employees. We offer a wide range of technical engineering expertise and comprehensive technical and project management services. In the Infrastructure Projects department, we plan and build new infrastructure projects in the port. In project teams, engineers from different disciplines are currently approx. 20 interesting projects. We are currently looking for engineers for the construction of land power plants in the Port of Hamburg.

Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us! You are responsible for the planning and execution of construction projects for the construction of other land power plants for sea ships at berths in the Port of Hamburg, taking into account economic and ecological aspects. You coordinate various engineering tasks and planning with internal and external specialist units in this field. The preparation of the required approval procedures is your responsibility. In addition, you will set up tender documents and transfer the award and settlement of planning and construction contracts. You participate in the monitoring of construction measures including coordination between users, participating companies and other units of the HPA.

You have a completed study of the field of civil engineering with a deepening of constructive engineering - as far as possible engineering water engineering - or comparable knowledge and skills. You already have several years of professional experience in the planning and implementation of construction measures and even ideally have experiences with constructions in existence. If you have knowledge of port construction, this is of advantage. Your independent and self-sponsored way of working and your team skills are yours. In addition, your strong communication skills and your convincing expression complete to convey and enforce the technical needs in the field of intense port use.
