Siemens Mobility (SMO) is part of a company-wide transformation program at Siemens called “SHERPA X” and is defining the future process and application landscape for all project business activities. As part of SHERPA X, we will migrate from legacy SAP systems to SAP S/4 HANA, but so implement improvements in key ecosystem tools outside of SAP.

The IT Transformation Manager (f/m/d) wants lead and drive digital transformation initiatives as part of the SHERPA X program. The focus is on implementing modern and innovative IT solutions while ensuring alignment with Siemens' strategic objectives and the digital transformation roadmap. At the same time, the position is responsible for defining the support concept for all applications included in the scope and works closely with various Siemens business units. What do you contribute?

  • You develop and implement comprehensive IT transformation strategies that are closely aligned with business objectives and the SHERPA X program.
  • You lead complex transformation projects from the initial idea to successful implementation and accompanying their integration into existing structures.
  • To this end, you develop transformation roadmaps and implementation plans, monitor project progress, and proactively trigger appropriate measures in the event of deviations.
  • You build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across various business units.
  • Besides, you promote close collaboration between teams and business departments to ensure the smooth introduction of new solutions.
  • You manage external partners along clearly defined objectives and within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • In addition, you continuously identify automation potential, develop automated processes, and relevant KPIs to measure success.

What do you bring along?

  • You have a completed university degree (Master’s) in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • You have many years of professional experience in IT project and program management in a manufacturing environment.
  • You have extensive experience in leading digital transformation initiatives (SAP S/4HANA) in an international environment and therefore bring solid knowledge in change management.
  • In addition, you have already gained initial disciplinary leadership experience.
  • You have a PMP certification and solid experience with agile methods (Scrum).
  • You are an excellent communicator and can build sustainable relationships.
  • On top you are a self motivated person who is passionate in driving change in both dimensions – business processes and IT Landscape.
  • Very good English skills as well as ideally good German skills and a willingness to travel (approx. 35%) complete your profile.
