Head of Controlling (m/f/d)

For the management of the controlling, we are looking for a management personality that takes over an experienced team and shapes the further development of the company-wide controlling. The position combines the responsibility for efficient operational controlling with the ability to strengthen the business partnering and cooperation with the operating business areas in a targeted manner and to advance modern planning, forecasting and reporting approaches. As part of the management group, you work closely with the management and operational business areas and actively contribute to key business and earnings management issues.

You assume the overall responsibility for the company-wide controlling including planning, forecasting, reporting and financial control, as well as the professional and disciplinary management of an experienced controlling team. In the continuous savings ring with management, management circle and operating business areas, you derive concrete action and control impulses, create measurable earnings contributions along the entire value chain and strengthen the business partnering in controlling. You are responsible for planning and forecasting processes and develop them according to the best practices of a modern controlling, with the aim of predictive and integrated corporate management. You are responsible for financial and management reporting as well as the continuous development of key figures, analysis instruments and data-based reporting solutions. You analyze outcome development, cost structures and profitability and accompany optimization and benchmarking initiatives. You will also provide relevant financial information for management, management and shareholders. You develop the employees in controlling and, together with the team, provide impulses for modern methods and procedures. At the same time, you identify and use targeted potentials for digitalization, automation and AI in planning, reporting and forecasting.

You have completed economic studies, ideally with a focus on finance/controlling, or a comparable qualification. You bring multi-year, well-founded experience in controlling a larger or more complex business environment and have already taken over disciplinary leadership responsibility. You have a strong understanding of economic relationships and operational value drivers and are used to derive concrete decision-making and control impulses as Sparring partners for management and operating business areas. You have extensive experience in planning, forecasting and reporting and have already contributed to the further development of modern controlling and control processes. You know modern planning, reporting and analysis instruments and bring experience in the digitization and automation of controlling processes as well as a high affinity for the meaningful use of AI. Experience from the trade, consumer goods or a comparable dynamic and commercial environment is advantageous. Personally, you are convinced by analytical strength, entrepreneurial thinking, communication strength and a clear and development-oriented leadership style. Negotiating German and English skills complete your profile.
